Lone Star return to Harajuku`s Bar Bonobo this Saturday (August 5th) for our Summer Party. Ken`ll be manning his legendary Barbecue up on the glass-roofed third floor. Supplying revellers with, amongst other delights, his equally legendary jerk chicken. On the tatami-matted second floor I`ll be spinning a selection of sunny Roots and Lovers Rock 45s. To top things off, on the dance floor, you`ll get sets from the residents, including the mighty Max Essa, and our very special guest Shikisai. It`d be great to see you!

The original`s a raw percussive workout from 2006. Enzo – the man responsible for Balearic Classic Blackout –  incanting a prayer – discussing devotion – over the top. Archeo Recording`s Manu  licensed the track and hit Leo Mas, Fabrice & Sueno Latino`s Andrea Gemolotto, for a remix. These Italian House pioneers are known as “La Magica Triade”. The result is big and tribal with handclaps, skittering rimshots, and a bellydancing bass line. Nearly seven minutes of “Ban Ban Ton Ton”. The Acid kicking in after three. For a moment becoming Adriano Calentano fronting Hardfloor.
