Four “new” shows for Music For Dreams Radio. Excised from another five hour session, recorded upstairs at Bonobo in Harajuku. According to the dates of the files, this one took place in October 2017. But listening to them, it feels like longer than that. 

There`s present from Basso on here, and I know that Tomoko was with me when I played it for the first time. And it seems like more than a year that I last saw Miss Madparty. 

I guess that`s one of the nice things about having these recordings. That they serve as a memory-jogger. An audio diary. 

A tangle of tunes trainspotted – and generously IDed – from the sets of Chris Kontos, Harvey, Max Essa, Moonboots, Phil Mison, and Tornado Wallace. Jose Padilla`s Cafe Del Mar cassettes, and Andrew Weatherall`s short-lived stint on Kiss.

If you`re up for chilling, and chatting, to a similar “eclectic” soundtrack, I`m back at Bonobo this Saturday. July 7th. Ten til past dawn. I`ll be on the second floor while Ken Hidaka and Max get the love dancin` downstairs. Ken will also be barbecuing on the roof terrace. Serving up his famous jerk chicken. While our very special guest with be Yozo from EAD Records.
