Rollover Milano are DJ / production duo Tiberio Carcano and Rocco Fusco. As well as running a record imprint of the same name – which just released a rocking E.P. from Andrea Ferrari – and their “edit service”, Anything Goes, the pair having been hosting a party, every Thursday night, at Milano’s Club Apollo for the last decade. A quick look at the list of guests they’ve lined up over those 10 years – Axel Boman, Bicep, Floating Points, Maurice Fulton, Red Axes, Soulwax, Young Marco… – will give you an idea of the event’s eclectic nature. Something that’s also reflected in the sounds on their label. Here, the pair share a top 10 selections from the sophisticated soiree that have proved a big success with Milan’s movers and shakers.
Channel Operators / Fantasy Dub
Chop is a new project by Whodammany and Cosimo Cosmo Mandorino that came out on Best Record – the label`s first original artist album in over 40 years. We love to open our party with this amazing track.
In Flagranti / You’ve Simply Changed Your Mind
Big fan of all their music. This is the latest E.P. by the fabulous duo from Switzerland.
Jamie 3:26 / Bostich Time
This edit has became a classic of our set! Pure fire!
Sun Rhythms / Desire
It’s disco. It’s party time! Even if we’re playing darker vibes lately, there’s always space for some dirty, disco edits like this one.
Dirty Channels / Let Love In
Our DJ friends from Milano have established themselves as the new generation of classic house DJs – and this track is proof of that. We are so happy for them.
Rollover DJs / Power To The People (Boombass Remix)
Hubert did a fantastic job on our track and we always play it!
ZO:NA / Girare A Piedi Con Il Vento
This is one the latest releases on our label, and it’s a little dark. It’s a crazy duo who mix slow techno with Italian melodic vocals.
Fango / Elle Cang
Mr. Fango is a brilliant producer and a fantastic DJ. He love his tribal touch!
Nico Gomez And His Afro Percussion Inc / Lupita (Danny Krivit Edit)
We’ve no idea how many Lupita edits and versions there are out there, but this one by Danny Krivit is just the best! We can imagine Mancuso playing this one at the Loft…
Elado / Sun
It’s always cool to close the night with this unlikely cover of the Beatles’ classic.
Ferrari’s Subacqueo, featuring a brilliant Bell-Towers remix, is out now on Rollover Milano.
