Despite 2017`s considerable pressing plant waiting lists, Aficionado – the label run by Moonboots and Jason Boardman – still managed to issue a two-part collaboration with clothing people, Good Measure (King Clyde`s Request Line was big for me), treat us to the sublime Welsh-Language Folk of Bendith, and orchestrate the return of the Lovely Lady Brenda Beachball Ray. Solo, December has just seen the release of the Moonboots-compiled Moments In Time (for Music For Dreams). Tunes selected with Summer in mind, but making the perfect stocking-filler for that Cafe Del Mar obsessive in your life.
